About Me

I play Violin, Piano, Guitar, I'm a Composer/Arranger, Teacher, Conductor & I am a Singer/Songwriter!

I have a BA in Music and a BA in Media Communications.

I have been performing for as long as I can remember in both classical and contemporary settings.

I have been on several studio albums and have played with orchestral and chamber groups.

I sang with the Asbury University Auditioned Chorale and served as the Soprano Section leader in 2020.

I have been teaching since 2012. I currently teach private violin lessons for advanced students (book 4 and above). I have both online and in-person options & I teach both contemporary & Classical music.  One of my students was recently accepted into Butler University's School of Music for Music Ed. Another student of mine just got into the Central Kentucky Youth Orchestra. I have had two students in the Kentucky Middle School Honors Orchestra as well.

I also enjoy substitute teaching Ballet. I was trained in both Cecchetti & Vaganova Ballet techniques.

My teachers for Violin included Indiana University Violin Performance graduate, Diane Helle who was a member of the Grand Rapids Symphony, Dr. Gregory Maytan, professor at Grand Valley State University, and Grand Rapids Symphony Concert Master and conservatory graduate, Jamie Crawford.

I took lessons in both Piano and Keyboard. I also took voice lessons with Dr. JungWoo Kim, professor at Hope College and Dr. Duclou professor at Asbury University.

I have composed and arranged for Piano, Violin and collections of strings.

As a singer/songwriter, I have sung with Collision Band, which ended in 2021 and I now sing with my sister as Abi & Ali Music. Click below to hear our music.
